Once again this year, we had a booth at Bits & Pretzels—one of Europe’s most prominent startup festivals. The event typically runs for two days and traditionally concludes on the third day in the Schottenhamel tent at Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, this popular closing event had to be canceled this year, but that didn’t dampen the spirits.

A special highlight was the visit by Tobias Gotthardt, Bavarian State Secretary at the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy. He had specifically selected a few exciting companies from Bavaria in advance and visited them in person—including us.

We were very pleased with the direct exchange and the interest in our Bitcoin and stablecoin payment solutions via Lightning. It shows that digital financial innovations are taken seriously not only in the startup scene but also in politics and are part of the discussion about the future of payments.

Weißbierkarussell

We look back on two inspiring days at the trade show, filled with new connections, engaging conversations, and valuable insights. The keynotes and panel discussions provided plenty of inspiration for innovation and startups, while the CIO Summit featured discussions on key trends in digitalization and AI. The Weißbierkarussell also offered the perfect opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere. We were particularly pleased by the great interest in our solution, which is regulatory-compliant, easy to use, and offers real added value for participants.

Conclusion

Every year, Bits & Pretzels is a place full of energy, exchange, and inspiration for us. We’re taking home many impressions and new contacts, and we’re already looking forward to being there again in 2026!
