opago was once again represented at FinTraWorld26 in Cologne, where our CEO Michael Dülk — two years after our start-up pitch win — served as a jury member. In addition to discussions on AI and digital assets, the event offered excellent networking and a guided tour of the Michael Schumacher exhibition.

Once again this year, opago was represented at FintraWorld26 with its own stand, which is organized by BANKINGCLUB and Thorsten Hahn — and it was a special reunion. The event took place at the impressive Motorworld Cologne. Previously held in Berlin under the name “FinTechWorld,” it has established itself as a fixture in the financial industry. Once again, it provided an excellent platform for exchange, innovation, and inspiration.
FinTraWorld26 has special significance for opago: Two years ago, we won the start-up pitch in the area of payments — a milestone that demonstrated our innovative strength. This year, our CEO Michael Dülk sat across the table: as a jury member, he was able to evaluate the next generation of innovative payment solutions. This is a sign of how established opago has become in recent years.
This year's event was dedicated to a highly topical topic: transformation in the financial industry. The focus was on technologies that have now firmly arrived in the traditional financial world. Artificial intelligence and digital assets in particular shaped the evening's discussions and presentations. It became clear that the financial sector is in the midst of fundamental change — and we at opago are proud to be actively helping to shape it.

In addition to the professional impulses, the physical well-being was also not neglected. With good food and drinks, there were valuable discussions with industry colleagues, partners and interested parties. The relaxed atmosphere of Motorworld Cologne provided the perfect setting for open exchange and new contacts.
A special highlight of the evening was the guided tour of Motorworld Cologne. The participants learned more about the story of local hero Michael Schumacher, the Formula One racing driver, some of whom may have had a poster hanging in their children's room, to whose impressive career an entire floor is dedicated. The combination of financial innovation and motorsport legends made the event an all-round successful experience.
FinTraWorld26 has once again shown why it is one of the most important industry events. For opago, it was a great opportunity to consolidate our position as an innovation driver in the payment and compliance sector, make valuable contacts and at the same time take a look at the future of the financial sector.
We are already looking forward to the next FinTraWorld — and to continuing to actively shape developments in the industry!
