At Bits & Pretzels, opago presented its Bitcoin and Stablecoin payment solution via Lightning, enabling payment service providers and companies to easily accept and integrate digital payments.
Once again this year, we had a booth at Bits & Pretzels represented — one of the most important start-up festivals in Europe. The event normally runs over two days of the fair and traditionally ends on the third day in the Schottenhamel tent at Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, this popular conclusion had to be dropped this year, but this did not detract from the mood.

A particular highlight was a visit to Tobias Gotthardt, Bavarian State Secretary in Bavarian State Ministry of Economics, Regional Development and Energy. In advance, he had specifically selected a number of exciting companies from Bavaria and visited them personally — including us.
We were very impressed by the direct exchange and interest in our Bitcoin and stablecoin payment solutions via Lightning pleased. It shows that digital financial innovations are taken seriously not only in the start-up scene but also in politics and are part of the discussion about the future of payment transactions.
We look back on two inspiring days at the fair, which are full of new contacts, exciting discussions and valuable insights were. The keynotes and panels provided plenty of impetus for innovation and startups, while at CIO Summit important trends relating to digitization and AI were discussed. Am Weissbierkarussell There was also the perfect opportunity for networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The great interest in our solution, which complies with regulations, is easy to use and offers real added value for participants, was particularly gratifying.
Bits & Pretzels is a place full of energy, exchange and inspiration for us every year. We are taking lots of impressions and new contacts with us and are already looking forward to being there again in 2026!
